When I coach a person, I often ask:

“So what have you decided?” or

“So what are you willing to decide now?”

It is an extremely powerful question that always helps the person, no matter what situation she or he is.

The truth is that you always have the power to decide, and the more you make use of this power, the sooner you will move towards the solution that you seek or the goal that you have.

It is good to decide often. On both bigger and smaller matters. Here are some examples:

I’ve decided that I will tell my friend how I really feel about what happened

I’ve decided that I will go to fitness center 2 times a week

I’ve decided that I will no longer doubt myself

I’ve decided that I will ask for a salary increase

I’ve decided that I will never again say “Yes” to something that I am not completely sure that I want

I’ve decided that no matter what I will focus on the positive.

Why deciding more often is important and how will it help you?

When you decide, you direct your focus of attention towards what you DO WANT. You start sending out strong positive vibrations about what you desire. You shift completely your focus from uncertainty, indecision, doubt – emotions that keep you stuck and do not allow you to move forward. As you decide and start flowing energy towards what you want, you will allow the things that you want to come more easily to you.  

So decide more often. On both bigger and smaller things. Do not wait to make a decision until you find yourself in circumstances where you “cannot take it any more” or “you’ve got enough”. Decide now!

And do not worry if you are not completely sure if your decision is right in this moment – know that you can always make a new decision. So decide and move forward. And see how your life unfolds!
